EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTS OF WATER ADDING INTO THE INTAKE AIR ON THE ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND EXHAUST EMISSIONS IN A SPARK-IGNITION ENGINE

In the present study, effects of water addition into intake air (WAIA) on engine performance and exhaust emissions have been investigated experimentally in an automotive spark-ignition (SIE) which is used Renault Clio vehicles. Experiments performed for (3, 6, 9 12) % (by vol.) ratios (WRs) at different speeds loads. Selected were (3000, 4000 5000, 6000) rpms. 6000 rpm maximum speed this engine. loads (100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50) Nm 4000, 5000) rpms (80, 75, 65 65) rpm, respectively.
